Beacon Falls, Conn. – May 13, 2026 – LAVATEC announced today that Patrick Cox is the company’s new client relationship and retention manager. Cox, who previously served in a regional sales manager capacity, reports to LAVATEC president and managing partner Mark Thrasher.

Based in New Orleans, he primarily interacts with chief engineers and maintenance supervisors of customers and supports owners of smaller laundry operations. In addition to day-to-day communications regarding parts and service quotes, he is involved with post-service feedback, site visits, and improving communications across departments.

“I’m excited to help customers not only maximize the performance of their equipment, but also introduce them to new technology as it becomes available,” said Cox. “We are here for our customers, and it is our utmost responsibility to support them in any way to keep their operations running smoothly. I value this opportunity to work in an industry with so many dedicated people.”

Cox brings extensive industry experience and a strong customer service background to his role. His focus includes helping customers improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and streamline communication with LAVATEC’s service and support teams.

“Many of my conversations are focused on parts and service, but we also discuss control upgrades, technology improvements, and various other features that can enhance existing equipment performance,” he noted. “With most of the customers I work with, it’s a matter of understanding the issue and connecting them with our service team. We are now resolving concerns and reducing customer downtime with this proactive approach.”
