The IMPACT Legacy Circle recognizes leaders whose contributions have shaped the textile care industry and ensures their experience, perspective, and leadership continue to guide the future. This program honors the foundation our industry has built while intentionally investing in the next generation of innovation and progress. As an extension of IMPACT’s mission, fostering meaningful conversations, sharing ideas, and strengthening relationships, the Legacy Circle highlights the value of learning from those who helped lead the way, ensuring that our industry moves forward with both insight and inspiration.

The 2026 Honorees were selected to recognize leaders whose careers reflect enduring impact, service, and thoughtful leadership. Chosen for their influence on people, organizations, and the industry, these honorees represent the foundation on which the next generation continues to build.

Greg Gicewicz
COO of Fillmore Linen Services & President & CEO of Compliance Shark
Gregory Gicewicz is an industry leader in healthcare laundry and infection prevention. As Chief Operating Officer of Fillmore Linen Service in Chicago, he oversees one of the nation’s most innovative and community-driven healthcare laundry operations. He is also the President and CEO of Compliance Shark, a consulting firm dedicated to helping hospitals and laundries achieve infection prevention compliance.
A published author of Linen Saves Lives: How Linen Compliance Can Prevent Infection, Improve Patient Safety, and Maximize Profits, Gicewicz is a frequent speaker at national conferences and a former President of the Healthcare Laundry Accreditation Council (HLAC). He previously led Sterile Surgical Systems, an FDA-registered sterile pack processor and accredited healthcare laundry serving the Pacific Northwest.
Before entering the industry, Gicewicz spent 14 years at Microsoft Corporation in senior technical and operational leadership roles. He holds a BA in Chemistry and Physics from Harvard University and continues to be recognized as a leading voice for raising standards in healthcare linen management and patient safety.
Greg Gurtler
President of Gurtler Industries
As President of Gurtler Industries, I have led the transformation of a once-small regional company into a thriving enterprise with reach across North America and into Australia, driving sustained growth through strategic vision, innovation, and commitment to industry leadership. Since joining the company in 1982, I have played an integral role in shaping its market presence while contributing to the advancement of the textile care industry. My service includes membership on TRSA’s Healthcare Committee and Strategic Planning Committee, as well as leadership as President of the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA) in 2005. In recognition of my contributions, I was honored with ARTA’s Nate Belkin Excellence Award in 2029. I have also supported industry development through board roles with the Independent Textile Rental Association from 1998-2000 and again from 2014-2016. Also, I currently serve on the board for the Midwest Textile Service Association (MTSA).


Ed McCauley
President & CEO of United Hospital Services
Edward McCauley serves as the president and CEO of United Hospital Services, LLC, in Indianapolis, a role he assumed in March 2005 after joining the company as Vice President and COO in 2002. He boasts over 40 years of experience in the industry and played a key role in restructuring United Hospital Services from a 501(C)(3) to a for-profit limited liability company. Under his leadership, the company’s annual linen production volume has significantly increased from 27 million pounds to just over 60 million pounds. He also helped in the design and construction of a second operating plant in Hammond, IN, which officially opened in 2022. McCauley has made significant contributions to the broader industry through various leadership positions, including serving as the past president and a member of the International Association of Healthcare Textile Managers (IAHTM) and a past president and member of the American Reusable Textile Association (ARTA). Highlighting his deep passion and journey in the field, McCauley authored a memoir titled The Lint in My Veins. He also holds a patent for a clean sling with lint reduction cover. He earned a B.S. in Operations Management from Penn State University and an MBA from Wilkes University.
Ron Seaman
General Manager of Florida Linen
Ron Seaman has more than five decades of leadership experience in laundry, linen, and facility services across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Bahamas. He most recently served as President of Florida Linen Services and now sits on the company’s Management Board. Previously, Ron was President of Centerstone (Alliance/Atlas Laundries) and held senior executive roles with Sodexo Marriott, including Regional Vice President overseeing healthcare laundry and linen distribution operations along the Eastern Seaboard. His career includes facility start-ups, plant retrofits, sales leadership, and operational consulting throughout North America and the Caribbean. Ron holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool.


Graham Skinner, RLLD
VP of Business Development and Technical Support at Christeyns
Graham Skinner, RLLD is the VP of Business Development and Technical Support. His depth of experience in laundry services has provided him with a view from all aspects of laundry service. Beginning in the industry at a very young age as a third-generation laundry person, his tenure has included service as a Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager for Laundry Services and a Technical Laundry Specialist for a Laundry Chemical Company. With a passion for teaching and training he first earned his RLLD in 1997 and returns frequently as an instructor and facilitator for the International Program. Graham has served on the ALM Board of Directors and was named ALM’s National Allied Tradesperson in 2007.
