Greenville, NC – June 1, 2026 – Christeyns North America announced the addition of Walter Lopez as Director of Commercial Laundry Operations, further strengthening the company’s commitment to delivering operational excellence, industry expertise, and innovative laundry solutions to customers across North America.

Lopez joins Christeyns with extensive experience in commercial laundry operations, plant management, and customer-focused service leadership. Having led large-scale commercial laundry facilities as both a General Manager and Plant Manager, while also working closely with laundry operations across the industry, Lopez brings a unique perspective shaped by firsthand operational experience. His background gives him a deep understanding of the day-to-day demands, operational challenges, and performance expectations commercial laundries face, allowing him to help customers identify practical solutions that improve efficiency, reduce labor costs, lower water and energy consumption, improve productivity, maximize overall plant performance, and positively impact profitability.

In his new role, Lopez will work directly with commercial laundry operations across healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and textile rental markets, helping customers implement best practices and optimize processes through advanced chemistry, equipment solutions, and operational programs designed to improve efficiency and support sustainable growth.

The addition of Lopez reflects Christeyns North America’s continued investment in bringing global innovation and proven best practices to the North American marketplace. Supported by the worldwide resources of the Christeyns organization, the company continues to expand its focus on advanced laundry technologies, operational programs, equipment solutions, and chemistry innovations designed to help customers reduce operational costs while improving wash quality, productivity, and overall plant performance.

“Walter brings a tremendous level of operational knowledge and industry experience to our organization,” said Peter Jackson, Vice President of Commercial Laundry for Christeyns North America. “His understanding of commercial laundry operations and his ability to connect with customers make him an outstanding addition to our team. Walter shares our passion for helping customers improve their operations, reduce costs, and achieve long-term success. We are excited about the value and support he will bring to both our current and future customers.”

“Walter understands the operational side of the business because he has lived it firsthand,” Jackson continued. “He understands the challenges plant operators, managers, and ownership teams face every day, and that experience allows him to provide meaningful support and practical solutions that can make a real operational impact.”

“At Christeyns, we are committed to helping our customers grow through innovation, expertise, and service,” said Josh Lilley, CEO of Christeyns North America. “Walter’s operational experience and industry knowledge strengthen our ability to deliver practical solutions that improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support long-term success for our customers.
