Laundry & Linen College

The Laundry & Linen College is the premier resource for laundry training and education. For over 30 years, the college has provided training in laundry processing and linen distribution and utilization for individuals in the U.S. and abroad. This program is recognized nationally for developing skilled, informed, and accomplished laundry professionals. Respected for its timely and relevant course content, format, and instructors, the college convenes twice yearly, spring and fall, for five days in Richmond, Kentucky.

With healthcare experts currently predicting our "new normal" from COVID-19 to continue through the summer, such as social distancing and facemask requirements, ALM has made the decision to postpone the Textile Care Services Laundy & Linen College session to September 21-25, 2020. This means both Laundry & Linen College sessions will run concurrently.

In the Textile Care Services session, participants will learn about textile selection, linen management, pack room management, and textile budgeting.

During the Laundry Processing and Operations session, participants will learn about equipment selection, preventative maintenance, key performance indicators in production and plant operations, and safety.

Why Should I Attend?

  • The Laundry & Linen College uses interactive, hands-on, class projects in small groups.
  • Students are able to take immediate action in their facilities after the college. Even experienced laundry personnel learn new approaches!
  • Gain lifetime connections with fellow attendees/students.
  • Each class is aided by a course facilitator who has been through the program and is currently working in the field – practical everyday experience meets classroom instructors for the benefit of those attending.
