Joint Commission accreditation is very important to laundries' hospital customers, but identifying the standards that address linen issues can be challenging. This presentation, presented at the Midwest Chapter meeting by Linda Fairbanks, executive director of ALM, highlights Joint Commission's new approach in scoring, the SAFER™ Matrix, and standards applicable to linen use and storage in the hospital.
