ABOUT US

Association for Linen Management

Our mission is to promote high standards through education, certification, and the sharing of best practices. We are committed to helping our members build stronger operations, develop their teams, and deliver better service.

Governance

We serve professionals working in laundry operations and linen management across healthcare, hospitality, and institutional settings.

  • Membership Reach: ALM brings together more than 2,500 professionals across nearly 500 facilities across the U.S. and internationally.

  • Member Community: Whether you're leading a facility, managing linen systems, or providing industry solutions, ALM is here to support your success.

The Association for Linen Management (ALM) is a non-profit 501c6 trade association dedicated to advancing excellence in textile care. All members have a voice in the organization's governance with the right to vote, hold/appointment to office, volunteer for committees or task forces, and give presentations.

ALM offers both Individual and Group membership options. All members have the right to vote, hold office, serve on committees or task forces, and contribute to the direction of the association.

An annual membership meeting is held in the spring of every year.

Our History

Our history is built on a balance of tradition and innovation. Over the last 80+ years, we've evolved from an association into a trusted partner for industries dependent on effective laundry and linen solutions. Each certification earned, every skill mastered, and every connection fostered through ALM strengthens individual careers, their company, and the broader industry.
