Volunteer with ALM

Do more than belong to ALM, be part of it! 

As a membership organization, we not only exist to support your professional needs, we are led by member leaders who volunteer their time and expertise. 

ALM is reliant on members to help us define policies and procedures, develop relevant programming, content and benefits, and grow the association. The benefit of volunteering is mutual. Volunteers rise up as leaders in the industry. They build credibility and rapport with colleagues and customers. This, in turn, delivers value back to your employer. 

How to Get Involved

You can take part in a committee or task force, serve on the board of directors, contribute editorial material for the ALM Journal or digest, peer review publications, present a webinar or seminar, or instruct at the American Laundry and Linen College or CLLM review program.  Time commitments vary, so even if you have little time to give, we respect that you have much to offer.

Time commitment: 1-2 hours per month

Time commitment: 4-5 hours per article, varies by publication

Time commitment: 2-4 hours per session

Instruction

Time commitment: 8-12 hours plus travel and prep time
