Membership in ALM

Well informed individuals are ones who are best equipped to make sound, reliable decisions. The Association for Linen Management is dedicated to serve as a leading resource for the textile care services industry. ALM is recognized throughout the United States and abroad for their strong educational materials, training programs and resources. Membership in ALM provides individuals in the textile care industry access to educational programs, publications and a network of industry professionals seeking to provide quality, efficient, and sustainable textile care services. Types of Membership in ALM

There are two basic categories of membership: Textile Care Service Providers and Textile Care Vendors.

Textile Care Service Providers                       
Laundry processors, linen distribution & utilization personnel, materials managers and purchasing professionals employed in laundries,hospitals, hotels, educational institutions, or correctional facilities.

Facility Membership    



The benefits of membership are extended to the facility and those involved in textile care services within the company/organization at one location. Benefits of membership reside with the facility while the names of the individuals accessing the benefits of membership may change over time

Individual Membership  


The benefits of membership apply to the sole individual named in the membership. The benefits of membership remain with the individual regardless of change in employer or employment status.
Textile Care Vendors/ Partners A business or organization that provides products, equipment and/or services to textile care service providers.

National Members


A textile care business or organization currently marketing to/serving customers in five or more US states and any foreign country. All employees within the textile care division are extended the benefits of membership.

Regional Members


A textile care business or organization currently marketing to/serving customers in up to four US states.

Individual Members


An individual employed by a textile care business desiring direct access to member benefits, but whose employer is not a member of ALM.

 Local and Regional ALM Affiliates

ALM offers local and/or regional access to educational programs and networking through ALM affiliated chapters. Membership in an affiliate chapter provides for local programs and meetings traditionally held three to four times a year, often rotating meetings throughout the service area. It should be noted that membership in a local/regional affiliate does not provide the benefits of membership in the National Organization.
