The American Laundry & Linen College (ALLC) is the premiere
resource for laundry training and education. For over thirty years, the College
has provided training in laundry processing and linen distribution and
utilization for individuals in the U.S. and abroad. This program is
recognized nationally for developing skilled, informed and accomplished laundry
professionals. Respected for its timely and relevant course content, format and
instructors, the ALLC convenes twice yearly for five days in Richmond, Kentucky
on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University.

Laundry Processing and Operations - Fall Session
During the Fall, the Laundry & Linen College will convene to provide interactive training on laundry processing and operations. The esteemed faculty will lead classes on Equipment Selection and Bid, General Laundry Safety, Chemistry in the Wash Process, Preventative Maintenance, Maintenance Related Safety, Energy Management, Laundry productivity and performance measures, and laundry management.
Textile Care Services - Spring Session
During the Spring session of the Laundry and Linen College, classes offered include QAPI, Infection Control, Textile Basics, Textile Selection and Bid, Linen Management and Utilization, Linen Distribution, Linen Benchmarking and Performance Measures, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Packrooms.
The American Laundry and Linen College is an excellent way to
prepare for the RLLD certification exam. It is highly recommended that
RLLD candidates attend two terms of the college, prior to taking the
examination. RLLD certification candidates can
schedule the examination at any time during the year. The exam must be
administered through an ALM approved testing facility.
The RLLD certification exam will
no longer be administered during the college. To schedule an RLLD

Horsley, Professional Development Manager. The examination fee is $200 for members and $395 for non-members. Testing candidates will also be responsible for the fee charged by the testing facility.
